How safe is the cloud? Judging by the reaction of some enterprises, it’s not safe at all. According to some recent surveys, some organisations are still not happy with the security provided by the cloud. One report suggests that nearly 80 percent of companies are rejecting the cloud because of security concerns, while another puts the refuseniks at closer to four in ten. If you add into the mix, the unreliability of Safe Harbor legislation, it looks like cloud is still not being embraced with enthusiasm. It therefore may seem like a funny time to suggest that the cloud could be more secure than your in-house environment.
