Cloud security: why there's nothing new to learn

When it comes to security, the cloud changes nothing. Given that my entire journalistic career has been built upon being passionate and evangelistic about emerging, innovative and revolutionary technologies (think email, think Internet, think web) it may come as something of a surprise to see these words fly from my keyboard: 'Here's the bottom line, the cloud changes absolutely nothing'. However, give me a chance and I'll explain why I'm apparently dissing the cloud and all who sail in it.
