I have played with the future and it's Microsoft Kinect shaped

I've lived with Kinect for a little over a week now, and to be absolutely honest I cannot imagine life without it now. Not that I use it all the time, Call of Duty Black Ops ensures that I still need to get to grips with a traditional controller, and I suspect it will be a long time before such hardcore first person shooter games become truly Kinect enabled. But as a way of extending the Xbox gaming experience for all the family, well Kinect really does deliver upon all that Project natal hype. The future of gaming has arrived, and it hasn't got Nintendo or Sony written upon it...
