There's more to security than headlines

OK, I'm as guilty as the next IT security journalist for getting on my high horse and riding off into the headline sunset when yet another laptop or thumb drive containing patient data goes missing. For that I will make no apology, as without the eagle eye of the media to report such basic security breaches, chances are they would be swept under the carpet. However, it does rather grind on my nerves when I read mainstream media scare stories that are more about headline than substance.
