Sidewinder forecasts little cloud, with a small chance of decentralisation

According to the partial preliminary results of the Data Management Healthcheck 2010 survey, at which I have been allowed to take a quick peek, the forecast does not look at all cloudy for the health sector. Now you might think that this was a good thing. But far from being bright and wonderful, what these early results suggest is that healthcare organisations are pretty hesitant to even consider using cloud technology within any part of their overall IT strategy. The resounding reason for this reticence would appear to be a simple lack of trust of cloud security.
