iPhone FAIL: O2 users melt UK mobile data network

More than a million iPhone users were unable to access the Internet or send MMS messages for most of yesterday after the O2 data network stopped working. Could the lack of proper investment and sheer volume of iPhone users be starting to show as far as the mobile broadband networks are concerned?
