creditcards.com sells for $2.75 million

Mainly because I had the opportunity many years before to register pretty much any domain name I fancied and simply did not grasp the investment potential at the time. Perhaps the most infamous of these generic domain sales would have to be business.com which sold for a whopping $7.5 million (£3.75 million). At least those days are long gone, or are they? Maybe not, as news of the sale of creditcards.com for $2.75 million (£1.4 million) in March has just been made public.
