Researchers at Stanford University certainly have an alternative view of the gaming console and the really rather impressive processing power it possesses. They reckon it is a perfect fit for membership of the Folding@home project, and Sony would appear to agree seeing as it has said the next software upgrade will include a feature to enable end users to join up
